Andy the vulture has been injured and has been walking around the area for months now. His injury is non-repairable but he is surviving. He can get water from the creek, get himself up and away from predators (he doesn’t have many) and he is surviving off of the carrion he comes across. Until he is unable to get up and hop/skip away from the animal control people, he will continue to live his life in the fields.
Until then, please enjoy him… and just shoo him away if he is near. Vultures are no threat to residents.
