The Bordentown City Water Utility has water test kits available for those that would like to test their water for lead.
-Call City Hall at 609-298-2121, Extension 5
-Provide your information and they will provide you with the test kit (Currently the City is awaiting more test bottles).
-They will drop the test kit/bottles off to your residence
-The instructions will ask you to collect water first thing in the AM as soon as you turn on your faucet. Additional instructions will guide you through the steps.
-After the sample has been collected and you have completed the information sheet enclosed you will leave the sample on your front porch and the City will pick up the following morning.
-Results are generally available 2 weeks following pick up.
